Who Can I Help?

1. Absolute Beginners.

I can help you start from zero all the way to your desired level of fluency, both Mandarin and Cantonese. I have a set of study materials that are just right for absolute beginners. We start from learning the tones and sounds, then vocabulary and grammar. I tailor the lessons to your specific needs and progress level.

2. Know a little bit, but want to be more fluent.

Many of my students grew up speaking Chinese but lost the language as they grew up. If this is you, I can help you regain your fluency! If you started learning Chinese and want to improve, I can help you achieve your desired level of fluency. After analyzing your Chinese level, I will provide a list of recommended study materials that we will use.

3. Students taking Mandarin class in middle/high school.

If our children are in middle/high school Mandarin class, I can help them with homework and also set them up for success in their Mandarin tests and exams.

#3. I tailor the lessons based on your progress. If you’re not understanding a particular concept, I will help you practice it until you nail it.

#4. I like to incorporate a bit of fun in the lessons like practicing tongue twisters, talking about different aspects of the Chinese culture, and more!
